NotebookLM is an AI-powered research and learning tool: you can upload your own sources (PDF, Word, Google Docs, presentations, websites, images, audio files, public YouTube videos and more) and ask questions about their content — the answers come with citations, so you can trace exactly which document and passage a piece of information comes from. In this exercise, as a new employee of a fictional organization (JövőPont Community and Education Center), you process five documents and use NotebookLM to find the goals, rules, experiences, and the contradicting or uncertain information.
In this exercise you will learn: how to phrase questions well; how to search across several documents; how to verify the AI's answers; how to open and interpret citations; how to recognize contradictions; how to decide which document is newer; how to recognize when there is not enough data; how to build a checklist and a mind map; and how to create an audio overview.
Suggested schedule: preparation, download and upload: 15-20 minutes; information search and citation verification: 25-35 minutes; contradictions, uncertainty and source selection: 25-35 minutes; checklist, mind map and submission: 25-30 minutes. The optional audio overview and the bonus tasks come on top of this.

By the end of the exercise you will have: your own NotebookLM notebook; five uploaded source documents; several questions answered based on the sources; a documented source verification; a comparison showing the contradictions; an AI-safety checklist; a mind map; and optionally a Hungarian audio overview.
