Making an AI-avatar micro-learning video with HeyGen

The goal of the exercise

HeyGen is a browser-based AI video service: from text it produces a video in which a digital avatar delivers your script in a chosen voice. In this exercise you make a short Hungarian micro-learning video about recognising phishing e-mails for the fictional Northstar Learning organisation. The point is not to let the AI decide the content: you define the audience and the message, produce a V1 script, review it for accuracy, clarity, tone and safety, build the improved V2, break it into scenes, and render only after the review. The exercise creates no custom avatar and clones no voice: it relies solely on HeyGen's public avatar and voice libraries.

In this exercise you learn: how to define an audience and a single measurable behavioural goal for a training video; how to use AI for a first draft script, and what a human must check on it; how to break the message into scenes with a storyboard; how to choose a public avatar and a Hungarian voice, and why pronunciation matters more than looks; how to make the video followable without sound using on-screen text and captions; why an AI disclosure is mandatory; how to measure quality with a 20-point log and an external viewer test; and how to decide responsibly whether a fault justifies re-rendering.
